We are proud to share that Bioelectrix has won Falling Walls Lab Gothenburg 2026, hosted by Chalmers University of Technology, with the pitch “Breaking the Wall of Bioelectric Wound Healing.”
This recognition is an important milestone for our team and for the journey we are on: developing bioelectric technologies that can support faster and more effective wound healing. At Bioelectrix, we are working at the intersection of electronics, biotechnology, and healthcare — with the ambition to create solutions that can make a real difference for patients, clinicians, and society.
Winning Falling Walls Lab Gothenburg is not only a recognition of the idea, but also of the hard work, curiosity, and commitment behind it. It reflects the progress our team has made in turning a scientific and technological vision into something with the potential for meaningful impact.
The jury highlighted the strong convergence between electronics and biotechnology, as well as the potential to reduce patient suffering and future healthcare costs. For us, this is a strong encouragement to continue building, testing, learning, and pushing the boundaries of what bioelectric wound healing can become.
This win also means that Bioelectrix will be represented at the international Falling Walls Lab final in Berlin this November — a valuable opportunity to share our work with a global audience of innovators, researchers, and changemakers.
A big thank you to Chalmers, Falling Walls Lab Gothenburg, the jury, mentors, and everyone supporting our journey. We are excited for what comes next.
